Which operating systems does WorkMonitor support?

The native agent is in Private beta on macOS today; Windows and Linux agents are still In development; the browser extension is in the Chrome, Edge and Firefox stores; and mobile is only Planned, with no installable build yet.

What this means for you

• macOS (Apple silicon and Intel): Private beta. The native menu-bar agent: screen, foreground app, and activity level, with a permanent tray indicator. It's what's ready to install and use day to day, and it signs in through your browser.
• Windows (10 / 11, x64): In development. The native tray agent, with the same permanent capture indicator. It signs in through your browser, like the Mac.
• Linux (X11): In development. X11 desktops are supported; Wayland isn't fully supported yet, so sign in with an Xorg session. The native agent has a tray with the same permanent capture indicator as the Mac, and it signs in through your browser too. On a machine with no desktop, such as a server you reach over SSH, it prints a link you open on your phone and asks you to type the code that page shows. It ships as a single AppImage: there is no .deb or .rpm.
• Browser extension: on the Chrome, Edge and Firefox stores, where it updates itself. Brave and Arc take the Chrome one. There is no Safari version. It's a separate, lighter capture surface: it reports the site (the domain only, never the page's path, query, or content) that the desktop agent itself can't see, and it enrolls as its own browser device under you.
• Mobile (iOS & Android): Planned. Nothing is installable yet.
